Obituary

Paul L. Ford, Sr. of Winthrop passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on May 18, 2020. He was 84 years old. Born in Winthrop he was the beloved son of the late Flora (Dunbar) and Gerald R. Ford. A life long resident of Winthrop he retired as the former Fire Chief for the Town of Winthrop in 1996.

He was the devoted husband of the late Eileen (Coilty) and the loving father of Paul L. Ford, Jr., James J. Ford and the late Deborah Brown. Also survived by 5 grandchildren.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow the mass in the Cross Street section of Winthrop Cemetery.
