Joan C. (Fido) Grondalski – Lincoln

Joan C. Grondalski, 92, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Grondalski.

Born in Cumberland, R.I., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Wlodarczyk) Fido. She was a Lincoln resident for the past 55 years and was formerly of Cumberland, R.I.

Mrs. Grondalski is survived by her two loving children, Janice Hemond and her husband, Carl, and Paul Grondalski Sr. and his wife, Marianne, all of Lincoln, R.I. She also leaves three devoted grandchildren, Paul Grondalski Jr. of Boston, and Alex and Jared Hemond both of Lincoln, R.I.; one sister Mary Plonka of Taunton, Mass.; nieces and nephews. Mrs. Grondalski was the sister of the late Stacia Baldyga, Josephine Marchak, Anna Heard, Helen Cranshaw, Charles and Edward Fido.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 health crisis a private funeral was held. Arrangements were by Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home, 342 High St., Central Falls, R.I.
